It’s hard to believe that summer is coming to a close when it feels like it just began. On the one hand, we have fall fashion to look forward to, but I’m not quite ready to hang up my bikini just yet. So before we say farewell to our hard earned tan lines, it’s time to indulge in one last hoorah and Labor Day weekend is the perfect time to let loose with a boozy treat.
Rosé has been my go-to pool-side drink this summer and since we are having friends over to for Labor Day, I wanted to create something cool, refreshing and of course a bit boozy! For the 4th of July, we made frozé, and our friends loved it, but I thought, let’s kick this up a notch and turn this trendy concoction into a frozen treat. Perfectly portable and great for poolside lounging!
These frozé popsicles are practically summer on a stick. I love serving them on their own or submerged in a glass of rosé! So refreshing on a hot summer day! They are a total crowd pleaser and easier to make than you might think! Give them a try this weekend!
Strawberry FROZÉ Popsicle Recipe
Purée frozen strawberries, raspberries, rosé, grapefruit juice, and simple syrup on high speed in a blender until smooth. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve and discard seeds and foam.
Pour mixture in your ice-pop molds, leaving about 1″ space at the top. Freeze for 1 hour, until slushy and then stir with a popsicle stick. Add your sliced strawberries in each mold, cover, insert sticks, and freeze until ice pops are solid. We recommend freezing for at least 5 hours before serving.
For an extra boozy kick on a hot day, serve popsicles in a glass of rosé!
