Summer doesn’t always have to end … especially if you live in LA 😉 No but seriously, with the constant change of weather I’m making my summer pieces last a bit longer this year. If this Fall is anything like last season, I will be sweating my butt off in 80 degree weather while I attempt to layer and stomp around in heavy boots as if it ever snows here. So this time around I want to make my favorite styles last a bit longer while introducing some fall trends to keep up with the rat pack. I’m o b s e s s e d with this little blue floral number that I found from Wylie Grey. They offer some of the cutest, most trend driven staples edited down to perfection with a friendly price point for a pleasant online shopping experience. High Summer: Get it while it’s HOT

High summer style, get it while it’s HOT … literally. Crazy to think that we are half way through the summer with fall right around the corner. (I know … “don’t remind me”) Why is that everyone talks about how they never want summer to end but then rave about fall fashion and they can’t wait to wear booties and a cozy sweater till we are all freezing our asses off in February waiting for the next season. We love fall style just as much as the next girl but let’s be honest summer is the easiest season to dress for so you can’t hate too much on it. Let’s embrace it! Not a lot of effort and thought is required to pass off a cute summer look. I like to think of it as our cheat season. School’s out for summer so instead of racking your brain on what to wear, just think of the necessities; sandals or a cute pair of wedges, a hat to cool you off and an easy throw on dress or off the shoulder top and light bottom. Summer Simplicity

Can you believe Fall clothing has arrived in stores. A part of me is excited because Fall, like most can agree along, is my favorite season to dress for. All the layering and styling options makes getting dressed each morning fun and so much more creative. From the endless boot options to the jackets, blazers, vest, sweaters … you get the idea. There are so many more options to mix and match and show your true personality. However … what I do love about Summer is the simplicity of dressing. Specifically when it’s 95 degrees, aka. feels like 120 degrees and a bathing suit would be more suiting if only that was acceptable. The more accepting and appropriate option would be to throw on a cute dress and sandals and you are good to go. Sometimes It’s nice not to over think every look. The simplicity of summer dressing allows more time for me to spend outside in the sun, enjoying it for all it’s worth rather than in my closet. Obviously the off the shoulder craze got me too.
